Watch The Hand in Hand Saturday Series
The Hand in Hand Saturday Series are live interactive presentations that have been recorded and preserved on the CZR webpage for further viewing. Workshops will be held every other month on the second Saturday.
The mission of this Series is to present topics that are COSA-related, focusing on the Steps, Traditions, Principles, and Tools of our program. This series is by COSAs for COSAs.
For more information visit our Meeting Schedule page.
We came together in 2022 to work the Steps jointly around our relationships and to share our Experience, Strength, and Hope with other couples who wished to do the same.
Sobriety Circles for Couples
Sobriety Circles are a useful and valuable tool for sobriety that can be adapted to many situations and even relationships. A and A share their ESH with the Circles both in their individual programs and as a couple. The presentation includes a methodology for expanding the Circles with a spiral and a "Basement Stairs" metaphor.
Boundaries
Presenters share their experience, strength, and hope in an interactive workshop on Boundaries. Participants will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of and experience in setting personal boundaries.
Spirituality and the 12 Steps
Presenters share their experience, strength, and hope regarding how working the Steps continues to lead them to an intimate relationship with their Higher Power. Participants have opportunities for short meditation times with HP, where they can ask questions and share their experiences.
Intimacy Anorexia in Relationships
Presenters will share their experience, strength, and hope on being or having a partner with sexual anorexia, avoidance, or asexuality.
Creative Communication Guidelines
The presenter leads you through creative and interactive activities based on the COSA Safe Communication Guidelines. These guidelines apply to every area of communication: in COSA meetings, with your significant other, family, workplace — everyone. There will be an opportunity to use paper, drawing/coloring supplies of your choice, and even playdough if you have that available.
Principles One, Two, and Three
The 12 principles of recovery are a set of beliefs and practices that guide people through the process of recovery: Honesty, hope, surrender, courage, integrity, willingness, humility, love, responsibility, discipline, awareness, and service.
This presentation focuses on the first three: Honesty, Hope, and Surrender.
